

Biking in Richmond
Richmond, CA has many great places for everyone of all ages to ride a bicycle.
Dirt World Bike Park
A great place for kids and adults to have fun biking on dirt and paved paths, and practice their BMX skills. Has tracks for beginners and advaned riders. Located right next to the Richmond Greenway, very close to Unity Park.
Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline
Maintained by the East Bay Regional Park District, Miller/Knox has a paved pedestrian path around the park, that is also good for kids to ride their bike. On the weekends, one parking lot near the the playground is usually closed to cars, providing a wide open space for kids to ride on bikes, scooters or roller skates.
Marina Bay Trail
The Marina Bay Trail goes from Barbara & Jay Vincent Park to the Richmond Ferry. It's used by people of all ages, on a walk or jog with their family or dog. You can also find eight interpretive historical markers related to the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Park. It's a very scenic bike ride, but please ride slow and say hello to all the people walking on the trail. The whole Richmond Bay trail continues far beyond what's shown below. Bicycle / Pedestrian Advisory Committee
RBPAC promotes local, commuter and recreational cycling and walking in Richmond and improve the safety of cyclists and walkers on our roads. They provide input and feedback to the City of Richmond on cycling and pedestrian infrastructure by reviewing plans and prioritizing projects. They also undertake various cycling education and awareness activities in co-operation with the City of Richmond.
Trails for Richmond Action Committee
TRAC exists to help complete the San Francisco Bay Trail in Richmond, link it to public parks and population centers, and ensure it is maintained in perpetuity. They also promote use and enjoyment of the Bay Trail by all who live and work in Richmond, and as a visitor attraction to showcase the City of Richmond’s shoreline.
